Rhiannon B. This song speaks deeply to the exasperation of working folks here in America, especially younger people. Much like Woody Guthrie in the 1930s, Mountain Party puts the frustrations of the working poor to music to great effect.

The flexi is back! These flexi records are nearly the same as a standard 7", just, well, flexible. Originally created for postcard-sized payable promo singles in magazine and direct mail campaigns, the flexi record is a unique square version of the 7" single. These are black with yellow foil stamping. The song is pressed at 45 rpm. It sounds as good as a regular record, and ships super cheaply. Includes a glossy cardstock cover with the single's artwork.

at the top of a hill overlooking the city in the parlor inside of a big country club they're eyeing the waitress who brings them their whiskey and making remarks to themselves saying how she should smile and she laughs politely and flashes her teeth they're wolves dressed as sheep and after she leaves they return to the business of war and all god's children in the city below go on working for their wages and they smile, and say thank you, and goodnight at the end of her shift she heads into the city to work at the bar where her friends come and drink and they tip her well with the tips that they made last week and the old men return to their homes and wait for the invoice to come she's always paycheck to paycheck always waiting for the bottom to drop they legislate what her wage is while she serves them the cream of the crop and the old men return to their homes and wait for the payments to come
